Thank you for your interest in UKIP and welcome to the website of UKIP's organisation in the Royal County of Berkshire.
Our objective is to educate and raise awareness in the public of the damage the EU is doing to UK democracy economy, standard of living and way of life, and the guilt of the 3 big parties in allowing this to come about.
We stand in EU elections to win MEP seats to shame expose and stall the EU where it damages UK , to force the UK government to put the interests of the British people first and cease and reverse the hand-over of powers to the EU . We only need some 8% of the vote to win an MEP seat.
We stand in parliamentary elections to incite fear in anti democracy pro EU candidates from other parties. This achieved by gaining enough votes to lose the pro EU candidate his/her seat (as in Reading East 2005). Voting UKIP does influence the agenda of other parties.
We stand in local elections to influence events, challenge the complacency of other parties and to win council seats to represent local democracy better. In the SE Labour has little democratic mandate yet Tory/Lib Dem councils pathetically do what Labour tell them, to do. This must stop and the staidness and cost of politically correct Labour nonsense dictates challenged and curtailed to reduce council tax.
